Less small talk. More of what we’re actually thinking about.

Let’s make some room for it.

Women’s Conversation Circle

Real conversations about the things we don’t always have a place to talk about.

Relationships. Friendship. Grief and loss. Intimacy. Work. Identity. Belonging. Starting over. Feeling stuck. The strange parts of building a life somewhere new — and the ordinary parts of being a woman that can be surprisingly hard to talk about.

No scripts. → Arrive unprepared. It’s kinda chic.

No psychobabble. → Regular words will do. Nobody gets extra credit for sounding emotionally evolved.

No right answers. → Messiness and “I-don’t-knows” are welcome.

Come as you are. → Overthinking? Fine. Everything’s “good”? Suspicious, but fine.

Bring what’s on your mind. → The serious thing. The thing you usually don’t say out loud.

So, what is this?

The Women’s Conversation Circle is a place to sit down with other women and have the kinds of conversations that don’t always happen in everyday life. There’s no pressure to arrive with a topic, have something figured out, or turn what you’re going through into something that needs to be fixed.

I’ll get the conversation started and help keep it moving when it needs a little help. You can talk. You can listen. You can laugh. You can say, “I have no idea.” Some conversations may stay light. Others may wander somewhere unexpected.

Around the table you’ll find women with different histories, perspectives, cultures, and lives—Swedish, international, newly arrived, or long settled in Stockholm. You don’t need a particular kind of story to belong in the conversation.
